WORKSHOPS in 2026:-<\/strong>
01. “Sewing in all its Forms” – various dates, see below<\/strong>
Christine Finlayson’s regular workshop is on Sewing in all its Forms. If you wish help to read patterns, fit garments, put in zips, hemming, mending etc, or are creating something of your own and need help this could be just the workshop for you. Timing: 10am – 4pm, \u00a355 per person per session. The Sessions are available on the following dates:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

01st October 2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

02. Aberlady Art Sessions: Creative Textiles<\/strong> – various dates<\/strong>
Learn how to free machine confidently, we will be experimenting with different fabrics, learning various techniques, and generally enjoying the process using recycled items, metallic fabrics and plastics etc. We will be making a variety of fun things including book covers, bowls and pictures or wherever the creative process takes us.
All materials will be provided.<\/strong>

Requirements List:<\/strong>
Please bring along your sewing machine, and instruction manual (remembering the foot and cable) also a free-motion or embroidery foot (please refer to your instruction manual), and any spare needles specifically for your machine.
Threads and materials will be supplied, please bring along any threads you may wish to experiment with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Timing: 1 – 4.30pm, \u00a345 per person per session. The Sessions are available on the following dates:-<\/p>\n\n\n\n
