“Surfaces to Stitch”

During the year I will be taking short courses , these will be either for a four week period or six weeks depending on the time of year or other timings as stated.

The next scheduled short course will be for a four week period starting on the.
 
Monday 26th September  2011  7 - 9pm
Monday 3rd October        2011  7 - 9pm
Monday 10th October      2011 7 - 9pm
Monday 17th October      2011 7 - 9pm

Cost for these classes is £32 for the four weeks. Tea / Coffee/ Biscuits available to help with the concentration.

WORKSHOPS
Isobel Hall will be taking a workshop for two days on the 12th and 13th of November 2011 (Sat & Sun) on:
STITCHED SCRIM VESSELS
in the Aberlady Community Hall.
The cost of this workshop is £85 for the two days.

5th November 2011: Flora McPherson  ‘Rag Rugs’
Learn the hooking and prodding methods of making a rag rug surface that can be used also for cushions, bags, etc.

10th March 2012: Linda Keith ‘Nuno Felting’ Learn to make a beautiful Nuno felted Scarf.(felting through fabric)

5th May 2012: Amy Neville ‘Silk Batik’ Design and make a long (150cm) silk batik scarf.

Embroidery Guild Members and Poldrate Arts and Crafts Members
are eligible for a discount, and they are also open to Non-Members
